Concert Review :: Grace Potter & The Nocturnals at The House of Blues

The sound of Grace Potter's voice and the images of her enthusiastic presence on stage have been replaying in my head since I left the House of Blues on Wednesday night. Grace Potter & The Nocturnals played to an excited sold out crowd in Cleveland.

Dressed in short shorts a lace shirt and fabulous glittery shoes Grace appeared on stage with her band members. From the moment the stage lit up her energy level was on high. The show opened with "The Lion The Beast The Beat" a personal favorite. "Sweet Hands" and "Ah Mary" shortly followed. Grace mentioned that all songs played were selected by fans via Some other songs selected for the evening were "Paris", "Oasis" and "Apologies".

A few people have asked me about Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. Is she Rock? Is she Country? I'm not really sure what genre she fits in but it doesn't matter. Her voice and her talent is amazing and not to mention she is beautiful.

There is such a difference in a concert experience when the energy level is as high as it was on Wednesday night. It's exciting, it's entertaining and it sucks you into the whole experience. Grace is an exceptional performer. You don't want to take your eyes off of the stage for one moment.

"The Lion The Beast The Beat" released earlier this year is the most recent album from Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
