Indians Tickets Not Being Sold Until Early March

A lot of people have been wondering about the status of Tribe tickets after an exciting season that saw the team go to the playoffs last year. The Cleveland Indians announced on their Facebook page recently that single game tickets, including opening day tickets, will not be sold until early March.

Their was no explanation shown for the late date of ticket sales. One would assume that the Indians would like to take advantage of the crowds at the upcoming Tribe Fest which will be held at Progressive Field on January 25 and 26. It looks like the front office is banking on people buying season tickets this season and is delaying the bulk of tickets going on sale to the general public which had been in order already this time of year in years past.
