Why is there a need to lend ink to help promote what Wal-Mart is doing? Such national mega monsters get plenty of publicity elsewhere. Why not promote and support what some of the one of a kind unique local/independent businesses---the very fabric and stitch of the community--are doing to make the neighborhoods a better place? Wal Mart does not need help, but what is left of the independent locally owned businesses do need help.
