I strongly disagree with this POV. If Kobe wasn't there in 2000, the Lakers don't even make the Finals that year. Are you forgetting game 7 if the Western Conf. Finals that year, when Shaq and the Lakers looked like they were about to be beaten by Portland. Even though Shaq had monster numbers that postseason, he only put up a 18-9 in 47 minutes, and it was Kobe (25 -11-7) who had to put the team on his back and win game 7 in the fourth.
