Sign of Peace

I wish the diocese of Cleveland would do as others have and ask all parishes to stop shaking hands for the sign of peace; a nod or bow to your neighbor would be adequate...

The spread of the flu, colds and so on is hand to mouth and the sign of peace is just before communion when you touch your mouth and there is not an opportunity to wash your hands prior to receiving communion.
