I fail to understand how people in Cleveland keep voting for this man. He has done nothing for the people he's supposed to represent except for embarass himself. There are other candidates out there today who are against the war and who are calling for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq, most notably Ron Paul, and he does it without making himself and the people he represents look like fools.

From what I can tell, Kucinich has no other platform other than being against the war. Does he have any other ideas or thoughts? If hell were to freeze over and he got elected, once he removed the troops from Iraq what would he do? What other policies does he have in mind? Other than running his mouth and sounding stupid, he hasn't really talked about what else he would do to benefit our country as president.

I almost forgot that he mentioned making Spanish an official language. Isn't that a slap in the face to the nationalities he represents in Cleveland that had to come over to America and learn how to speak English? Or has he forgotten that Cleveland has a huge LEGAL immigrant community? Why would a presidential candidate speak of rewarding a group of people that have come here against the law, therefore forfeiting the rights that one would have as an actual citizen? When the majority of immigrants in our country were Polish, Irish, Italian, etc., did anyone think it would be nice to add their language and make it a national language? Sure didn't.

I just hope that the people of Cleveland will stop giving this man the opportunity to make everyone look like idiots. Let him do that to himself on his own private time, when it won't be as likely to fall back on Clevelanders. In the meantime, if you are against the war and think it's time to come out, look into Ron Paul. He is quoted as saying, "We walked right into Iraq, we can walk out the same way". He just also happens to have other ideas and platforms to stand on other than the war.
