2009 Lincoln MKS Debuts at Los Angeles Auto Show

Ford Motor Company unveiled their 2009 Lincoln MKS full-size luxury sedan today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Their latest vehicle will be priced at $38,000 and and their focus is to lure first time luxury buyers to the Lincoln nameplate.

"Lincoln has reestablished itself as a quality and design leader with award-winning products like the Lincoln MKZ, MKX and Navigator," says Mark Fields, Ford Motor Company's president of The Americas. "With the Lincoln MKS, we are raising the bar even higher with unparalleled amenities and performance, and a price that should be irresistible to luxury customers"

No word yet about what kind of fuel economy the MKS will achieve. What is known is that the new model will have a lot bells and whistles including the much ballyhooed Microsoft Sync Technology which allows users hands free stereo and cell phone control, push button starting capability, Rain-Sensing Wipers, and much more.

So when can you get your hands on the new MKS? The car will be hitting showrooms this summer and will be heavily marketed with rapper Common and 12-time Latin Grammy award winning artist Common Juanes.

Here is a promotional video that Ford Motor Company shot at today's event.
