Dennis Rocks!

I don't live in Cleveland, but I wish I did so I could vote for Dennis Kucinich. I supported his campaign for President, and if he runs again I'll support him again. Heck, I've even sent him money for his Congressional campaign, even though I live in Alabama. MY Congressman is a 6 term Republican who is, as usual, running unopposed. (and you think you've got it bad..) You guys are so lucky to have Dennis! He's for the little guy, and he's not all talk, either. His office handles over 10,000 constituent problems every single year. This is unprecedented in Congress. He also lives in the District he's representing, unlike his opponent.

Why doesn't this joe-ker campaign for the seat in his OWN district? If he's so wonderful, they should be glad to have him. Why attack Kucinich because he ran for President? Remember there are 'votes' and there are 'votes'. It's which votes you show up for that matter, not how many. Even some very important issues can be a 'done deal' before they ever hit the floor. If you know in advance that some measure or other is going to fail 100-1, there's not really much point in interrupting your entire campaign just to show up and lose. Sure, it's a nice gesture, but really it's only the close votes that are crucial. Many are on silly stuff like approving a plaque or an award, or voting on earmarks dear to the heart of a rep from another state.

You've got a good man in Dennis. Please do the country a favor and reelect him to Congress. Progressive Democrats are struggling to improve the lives of ordinary working people everywhere. We need a man we can count on to do the right thing, a man who is one of the cleanest politicians in the country, a man who doesn't go back on his word. We need Dennis Kucinich!
