Tradition does not make it right! We grow, mature and make things better. Kindness to animals is our responsibility as human beings. If animals are injured in the wild that is as a result of nature but we humans bring on injuries as a result of our own desires and selfish motives and innocent creatures suffer at our hands. This is not right. This is unethical! We are human beings, we should be better than this. We are to take care of this planet and all that God has created. Horse racing, in its natural form is good. Its the race for the million dollar victory or the fame and name is what these poor creatures suffer for. Any kind of competition that yields monetary gain for greed and self-promotion purposes uses whatever methods to reach that goal. That is cruelty, oppression, unethical and un-Godly.

PETA is taking a stand when the rest of us provide lip service. What is the alternative afterall. Let this opportunity go and these poor creatures are left to the hands of their torturers?? I support and commend PETA for doing more than I have done. Deeds not words is needed in the world we live today!
