Maybe you should focus on PETA and all of the animals they murder on a daily bases before you go praising them for being animal saints. Peta killed over 97% of the animals they took in. They not only destroyed thousands of HEALTHY and ADOPTABLE animals, they then stored them in a meat freezer. They don't even support or provide funding for things that could REALLY make a difference (Free-to-low cost vaccination clinics, spay and neuter vans, shelters, vets). Compared to the billions they take in, they spend only pennies on really helping animals. Get your facts straight before you go sounding the trumpets of PETAs animal victories.
