Love Anime Eyes? Now You Can Get the Look Yourself.

One of the hallmarks of anime is the characters' big eyes. The eyes are often so disproportionately large that they make the rest of the face look small in comparison. Plastic surgery cannot physically make one's eyes larger, so the new way to get the anime look is extra-wide contact lenses.

The contacts are not only tinted in a range of colors, but they're also tinted more prominently in the extra-wide outer ring. The result of wearing these contacts is the appearance of a bigger, wider iris.

A number of companies, including Dueba and Geo, make the extra-wide contact lenses. They cost $30-$50 per pair, and you can get them in prescription strength. With proper care and cleaning a pair should last you about a year.

Pick up some of this anime hair dye to go with the extra-wide contact lenses, and you can be a walking, talking, living anime character! Scary, isn't it?
