Change?

A party of the people and for the people? Mr Fowler, as I watch TV coverage of the hurricane today, the New Orleans levees are holding. Most Americans pray that they will continue to hold. And then there is you. Your view of the world is different. This is a political event for you and you hope for the worst. Mr Fowler, many Americans will be going back home to pick up the pieces. Many Americans have lost much of what they have worked so hard to attain. This is not about you, Mr Fowler, or your party, or your candidate. This is about Americans undergoing a disaster. And that disaster knows no party. Quite frankly, Mr Fowler, I doubt the folks returning home after this mess are thinking about the election. And Mr Fowler, while you fly around in your private jet, enjoying the bad news of the day, others are miserable. So as you go from place to place, advocating change, Mr Fowler, I recommend you think a minute about the CHANGE people returning to their homes will endure as they strive to put their lives back together. The last thing this country needs in time of disaster are politicians like you; morally corrupt politicians that see opportunity in peoples suffering. Mr Fowler, I would hope other Democrats in leadership positions do not see the world as you do.
