Today, Elizabeth Hasselbeck repeated the SAME erroneous comment saying that FDR was not President during the Depression. Not only was he President during the Great Depression (1929-early 1940's), he was instrumental in getting our country out of it.
Who was her grade school history teacher? Why did no one from either the View's panel or from the audience, or the producers themselves correct her?
I complained to the View when I heard this on Sept. 29, 2008 and not only was a correction NOT made but the same remark was made again today.
