I am not particularly interested in exploring the roots causes of something as irrelevant as the Falklands "war". I think the distance from London and the importance level placed on it by the Thatcher regime kind of bears out the absurdity on its own, without any help from me.
A more illuminating study might involve an exploration of exactly how such a tiny little collection of islands off the coast of deep South America, somehow, miraculously developed an English character? One wonders precisely how many natives were murdered, how many young girls were raped and at exactly which moment in time did the spirit of the native culture finally give way, collapse and form the leather soles on the bottom of British shoes.
Take that silly cane brother, and walk away with it.

Ash,
