Dylan Ratigan's departure is timely, given that he personally said yesterday (at the NYSE pit) that he was going to further investigate and bring greater media attention to Goldman Sachs receiving $50BN of insurance money from AIG, which was money funded by the American taxpayers.
I had a hunch Dylan would be let go. Other journalist needs to take up arms and speak for the pillaging of the American taxpayers. Dylan "leaving the show" may be partly due to conflicts with the producer, but given that their acerbic relationship has been ongoing, it leads me to believe that higher level executives and government officials had something to Dylan's departure.
