After the Civil War, Texas retained the right to seceed. The Texas flag can fly at the same height as the US flag, a privilege NO OTHER state has. Texas is not cattle or stetsons anymore. To say that is to proclaim your igornance. I'm all for secession. Texas has it all and if we decide, we can support ourselves...OIL, and all!
