Katherine Heigl Dropped from Film for Demanding Too Much Cash

Katherine Heigl is certainly building herself a reputation in Hollywood, and let's just say that it's not a good one. Heigl was apparently ready to sign on to an ensemble romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall called "Valentine's Day", but was dropped because she demanded $3 million to appear in the film.

$3 million isn't out of the realm of possibility for most film's that Heigl would likely star in, but this one was a special case. You see, it's an "ensemble" which means that the actors would be working at most two weeks and at the least only three days, which means $3 million would be highly overpaid.

A spokesperson for Heigl, however, claims that it was she who walked away, and that she wasn't dropped:

“The story is ludicrous. Early negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business, and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from this project for multiple reasons.”

Yea, right. This wouldn't be the first time that Katherine has come off as a diva. She caused a commotion last year when she withdrew her name from Emmy consideration and slighted "Grey's Anatomy" writers by stating I do not feel I was given the material this season to warrant a nomination.” In 2007, after starring in "Knocked Up", she said that Apatow's movie "paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. I had a hard time with it on some days.”

She's not that great of an actress, so it would be no surprise that she was dropped after demanding a ludicrous sum of cash for very little work. Blonde romantic comedy stars are a dime a dozen, and they could easily find someone else willing to fill her shoes.

i think she's a rude,

i think she's a rude, obnoxious, selfish pig who always gets her way. Judd Apatow should have got a better person to play that Knocked Up character, someone who understood where Judd was coming from. Im a woman and i saw nothing wrong with how he protrayed women in general in the movie, it was funny and a good watch!!!
