Steve Jobs Got Top Secret Liver Transplant; Is Living in Memphis

If there's one thing about Steve Jobs that we should all know by now is that he's always got a trick up his sleeve, and he won't leak info about anything until he's darn well ready to, whether that's in regards to a new Apple product or his health. So really, when we heard the latest rumors - that Jobs secretly got a liver transplant in Tennessee two months ago and is now living in a secluded Memphis mansion - well we really couldn't put it out of the realm of possibility.

Jobs, who was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2004, indicated in January that he was suffering from a "hormone imbalance" and would be taking a leave of absence. He brushed his health issues off as not a big deal. His wearabouts during his medical leave of absence are unknown even to Apple execs, and no one will say where he is. He usually lives in Palo Alto, CA, which also happens to be near two world-class cancer treatment centers.

Alex Haislip of Venture Capital Journal was the first to report that Steve Jobs may be living in a quiet Memphis neighborhood. The neighborhood was left buzzing after a historic local property was sold to a mysterious owner who installed security cameras and had a parked security guard out front. The rumor: that Steve Jobs was the home's inhabitant.

Late Friday night, the Wall Street Journal reported that Jobs had received a liver transplant in Tennesee two months ago. Instantly, this gave enormous amounts of credibility to the rumors that Jobs may be living in Memphis. Afterall, it is not uncommon for well-off patients to buy homes near the St. Judes Children's Hospital while receiving treatment, so it's highly plausible that Jobs could have hatched a similar plan. The only thing the WSJ didn't report was where exactly in Tennessee he received the transplant.
Residents haven't actually seen Jobs, but at least one person has reported being 80% sure she's seen his wife in the area. However, recovering from a transplant, it's hardly expected that he'd be out and about shopping in the local malls so his lack of sightings is also explainable.

Maybe one day he'll explain

I just want to know how Jobs got his new liver. Aren't there a lot of people on this transplant list waiting for a liver. Did his money buy him a liver?
