Rock Hall to Pay Special Tribute to Michael Jackson This Weekend
This weekend at the 12th annual Rock and Soul Festival, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio will pay a special tribute to Michael Jackson. Jackson, a two-time Rock Hall inductee, passed away Thursday at the age of 50.
Throughout the weekend, music from the span of Jackson's career will play in the museum. On Sunday, June 28, the Rock Hall will honor Jackson during the annual Rock and Soul festival with video presentations in the 4th Floor Theater, including footage from his induction with the Jackson 5 in 1997 and his solo artist induction in 2001.
At noon on Sunday, Rock Hall President and CEO Terry Stewart pay special tribute to Michael Jackson's life and music on the Main State. This event is free. Scheduled to perform during the remainder of the day are Artistree, Christelle, Eddie Holman, Kharizmah, Malina Moye, and Sylver Logan Sharp.
The Rock Hall will provide memorial space in the Main Lobby, and invite fans to bring a Jackson-inspired memento to the event.

Not only was Michael Jackson one of our greatest singers, he was also one of the most impressive and caring humanitarians in history, using his great wealth to help children in ways big government agencies never could. He was one of the best examples of the human race, one of the greatest examples of humanity, and now he is gone. Rest in peace, Michael, you will be missed.
