Palin's Popularity in the GOP Soars After Quitting
Apparently Sarah Palin's decision to quit her post as Governor of Alaska wasn't as misguided as it sounded at first, because it has certainly already begun to work it's magic on winning over the Republican party. According to a new USA Today/Gallup Poll, her popularity has surged amongst Republicans since she made the announcement.
71 percent of Republicans said they would vote for Palin if she ran for president in 2012, and three-fourths believe that Palin has been treated unfairly by the media.
Two-thirds of Republicans want Palin to be "a major national political figure" in the future, while three-fourths of Democrats are hoping that she won't be. Independents by 55%-34% would prefer she leave the national stage.

What the author leaves out about independents is that although 55-34 % prefer Palin to leave the national stage (for now) a full 44 % are ready to vote for her in 2012 along with 17% Democrats---how's that for starters 3 years out from election day?

What the pundits can't get is how the others live in the "flyover country". She isn't from Skull and Bones, Trilateral Commision, Bilderberger, etc, so she cannot be allowed to be elevated to high office. She isn't from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, ect, so she must be a rube. She is a patriot that knows what middle America is longing for,.....FREEDOM. Also, I bet she could show me her birth certificate if asked and I wouldn't have to sue her to get it.

Right on! From the time America was introduced to Sarah Palin in the election last year, the pundits and drive by media have had it wrong. They still don't get it.. The pundits don't realize that they DO NOT know how freedom loving Americans out in the country really think. This is what has the liberals scared. Rasmussen just reported that Americans think corruption is number one issue, not the economy. Sarah Palin is a prime anti-corruption candidate precisely because she is an outsider and doesn't come with any pre-established political machine.

Bottom line: Palin Matters
She matters to the left almost as much as to the right...she is arguably seen as the most dangerous political figure to the left because they know she has ability to communicate and connect with ordinary Americas..because that;s what she is..unlike the liberal elites from our Ivy league schools that will never understand middle america and will govern from a radical playbook..Palin will govern with the ideals that she brings from her own life experiences and country loving middle America. Palin is a real person..unlike most politicians today that are just charictures looking to gain power at any cost and don;t stand for anything that can;t be changed if it;'s politically expedient to do so.

Yup - sounds like another upstanding politician to let into high office!

After seeing what Barak Obama has done in the few months in office it is now very obvious that he was less qualified than Sarah Palin to handle an executavie office. His agenda for Socialism is becoming very apparent and slowly but surely the thinking American public is becoming all to aware of this. His election got us over the race question. Now it is time for thinking Americal to fight for a return to a constitutional republican form of government. Sarah Palin's unconventional decision to leave the Governor's office and work with patriotic Americans gives us hope that this can be done.

Palin, your opening sentence could just as well read: "There is no shortage of threats to our Freedoms"...This Cap and Trade bill has hidden within many threats to our personal freedom, all tied to the , what I believe is a hoax, Global Warming. So if you are invited to write another op ed, please do an article on the Threats to our Freedoms (gauranteed in our founding documents) that the Obama adminstration is succeeding at a very rapid pace. America must wak up before it is too late.

I am currently taking a DVD course from the Teaching Company titled: "A History of Hitler's Empire".
In the untroduction , the professor posed several questions, and it would be easy to substitue the name Barak Obama,The Obama Administration, or Democratic Majority, to ask the same questions today:
1. What did the Germans think they were getting when they voted National Socialist? (Substitute Democratic)
2. What did they seem to stand for? Substitute Democratic and Obama Administration.
After the National Socialists (Substitue Democratic Majority) , these questions:
3. How were the Nazis (Substitue Democratic Majority and Obama Administration) able to establish the foundations of a totalitarian regime in such a short time in Europe?
4. Why was there apparantly so little resistance?
5. What made the Regime (Substitute Obama Administration) popular at home?
6. How were the Nazis (Substitute Obama Administration and Democratic Majority) able to seize control of the press (MSM), the radio (Substitute TV and Internet), the courts ( Substitute Supreme Court and Lower Court appointments), and the police (taking away the right to bear arms) with so little trouble?
The professor went on to ask two very important questions:...
7. Could this happen again in Europe or the United States of America?
8. Will there be resistance here?
There are certainly some parallels and we conservatives must give them serious thought and action. Time is of the essence for the Obama Administration is moving rapidly to implement many of the above and it is only the unknowing public that is letting it happen.
All of us need to pray for wisdom and guidance as to how we must fight against this.

The Beauty Of Sarah
Sarah is a beautiful woman and it's a good thing that it drives liberals crazy! Hopefully it gives liberal female politicians some incentive to put on a little makeup, and clean up there appearance, I mean come on, some of them are just damn hard to look at...let alone listen to their all too often predictable hate speech which has become shop worn and par for the course. The Libs are stuck on tax and spend, always have been and that's a road to ruin, and sadly those are the only two ideas the Libs have, sad but true! Refreshing to see beauty and brains and that... has the Libs screaming foul. --- Go Sarah!
