Cavaliers on the Brink of Signing Anthony Parker

The Cleveland Cavaliers are close to coming to terms with Anthony Parker. The signing of the former swingman of the Toronto Raptors would be the teams first move in free agency off-season.

Plain Dealer reporter Brian Windhorst who covers the Cavs writes:

According to a league source, the team has agreed to the structure of a contract with veteran guard Anthony Parker. The deal is not finalized, but is expected to be completed in the next several days.

Parker is 6' 6'' and 215 pounds. He has played for 3 different NBA teams and has been a key contributor for the Toronto Raptors the past 3 seasons. The 34 year old has averaged just over 10 points a game in his career with nearly 3.5 rebounds and about 2 assists per game.
