Stand Out From the Crowd in Hip New T-Shirts from Howards House of Fine Art

Express your individual style with a t-shirt that you won't see five other people wearing as you walk down the street, or head out for a night on the town. Designed by Howard Steenwyk, a former art director for the Los Angeles Dodgers and an LA native, Howard's House of Fine Art now has available an impressive collection of t-shirts.

Included in the collection, which launched in May 2009, are nine designs:

  • Beverly: Our perception of beauty, its symbols and status in America.
  • Uncle Sam: This symbol is approachable and ominous at the same time. Its ambiguous statement about America could be worn by a left wing liberal or a redneck truck driver.
  • NYC: A symbol of hope or a country in decline?
  • Was: Our country was built on revolution, and its part of our nature to consistory recreates ourselves. The first 3 letters of Washington is was.
  • T-Bone: This image represents everything un-pc, being a pirate, and being a piece of meat as something desirable.
  • Traffic Web: LAs architectural highlight is a parking lot.
  • Lincoln: Are we maintaining the qualities that made America great or killing them?
  • LA Medusa: Traffic and air quality are always a topic of conversation in southern California. Once youre on the freeway looking into the eyes of medusa you turn to stone and are unable to move.
  • Cash Cow: Goals or godless? The golden calf is an adopted American Idol.

The shirts are available for purchase online at HowardsHouseOfFineArt.com for just $25 (plus shipping), and come in sizes extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large. All graphics are screen printed on American Apparel t-shirts by skilled local artisans.

The Cleveland Leader is giving away shirts to two of our lucky readers. To enter to win the t-shirt of your choice, send us an @ reply on Twitter - @clevelandleader - with your thoughts on the designs - which one you like best, which one you hate, why you like it, etc.... you get the picture. The deadline to enter is 11pm on August 6, 2009.
