Graduate Sues College Because She Can't Find a Job
A woman from New York City says she can't find a job and is suing the college where she earned her bachelor's degree. Trina Thompson, 27, files a lawsuit last week against Monroe College in Bronx Supreme Court and is seeking the $70,000 that she spent on tuition.
According to Thompson, she has been unable to find gainful employment since she received her information technology degree in April. She claims that the school's Office of Career Advancement has not provided her with the leads and career advice it promises.
Monroe College spokesman Gary Axelbank says that her lawsuit is completely without merit and that the college helps its graduates find jobs.
In an economy like this, where those with established careers and college degrees can't even find a job, recent college graduates should expect to have a far more difficult time in obtaining a job.

This is why...
This is why you don't go to college just to find a job. 70 grand? She could have gone to a SUNY school cheaper. Hell, she could go to OSU as an out of stater for cheaper.

Give me a break.

With how many people in the nation that are out of work what makes her special?
That's Hilarious
That's hilarious. On what grounds is she suing the college if she is not personally employable?
