Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards Returns to Practice With Positive Attitude

Good news, Browns fans. Wide Receiver Braylon Edwards is back from his injury and sounds like a player ready for the 2009 campaign. The OBR wrote today:
Edwards said all the right things Tuesday, that he and head coach Eric Mangini are on the same page, that Mangini has his back, that he likes the discipline Mangini and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll have installed, and that he’s not thinking about the fact this is a contract year for him. He will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
“It feels good to be back in the mix,” Edwards said. “It’s one thing to be on the field but having to stand on the side and watch. It’s another thing entirely to be out there practicing.
“I love competition. I love football. When I got out there this morning, it reminded me of that. It made me realize why I began playing when I was 12.”
The former Michigan Wolverine star and first round draft pick is one of the most important figures on the Browns offense this year. Coming off a subpar season Edwards was said to be seeking a trade but it appears his attitude has changed and now become the same productive player that hauled in 80 passes for nearly 1300 yards and 16 touchdown passes in 2007's 10-6 season for the club.

we're pulling for you Braylon. I love you.
Seriously?

Why skip all of the team activities before practice started?
Mr. Edwards you've been given enough leeway as far as I'm concerned, and after last year's "performance" you have a lot to prove.
