ABC Wants Paula Abdul for "Dancing With The Stars"

Paula Abdul won't be back for the upcoming season of "American Idol" after she and the show's producers were unable to come to a salary agreement, however, she may not be without a job for very long. ABC's programming boss Stephen McPherson said that he would love to bring her over to his network for another hit reality show, "Dancing With The Stars".

When asked if he hopes to bring Abdul over to ABC, he said:

"Absolutely! I was a little stunned by the decision (to leave 'American Idol' earlier this week) and we would love to have her on 'Dancing,' whether it is as a contestant or some sort of judge. I think she is a huge talent. I think there is a lot made about her in terms of who she is. There is a sensitivity and emotion to her that balances out Idol and we'd love to get a piece of that."
