Brett Favre Un-Retires and Signs With Minnesota Vikings

He's back. Brett Favre said three weeks he ago he wanted to remain retired made a drastic U-turn today and has agreed to a contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Its deju-vu all over again for sports fans who saw Favre pull the same trick last year retiring from the Green Bay Packers only to sign with the New York Jets later in the year.
When told that Favre was going to be joining the Packers, incumbent starter Tarvaris Jackson told reporters:
"I didn't hear it, somebody told me about it," Jackson said of report. "I didn't watch it on TV or anything like that. I think guys are just doing their job. Just trying to get people to watch their station, you all try to sell papers, that's how it is."
Favre will now be playing in the same division in which became a household name with the Packers. Many speculate that Favre's main motivation coming back the NFC North will be seek revenge on Green Bay who wanted to go younger with Aaron Rogers at quarterback and pushed the aging legend out the door last year.
