John Edwards is Moving Mistress & Lovechild Closer to Home

After he reportedly paid for them to go away last year, John Edwards is now moving his former mistress and their lovechild back to his North Carolina neighborhood, where he will help to raise their baby. According to the National Enquirer, the former senator has now embraced fatherhood and wants to be intimately involved in daughter Frances' life.

Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, who is still battling terminal cancer, is said to have exploded in rage when he shared his parenting plans with her, and said that he was moving Rielle Hunter and baby Frances to Wilmington near his $2.6 million mansion.

This latest news follows reports last week that Edwards had undergone secret DNA testing which proved he is the father of Hunter's baby.

Sources close to Hunter say that they believe Edwards is paying for her move, but have no proof. An insider declared:

The bombshell development comes on the heels of our exclusive report last week that Edwards underwent a secret DNA test proving he fathered 18-month-old Frances with former lover Rielle Hunter.

"John is definitely behind Rielle's move to Wilmington. There's absolutely no way that he didn't approve or arrange her moving closer to him - it's all part of his new plan to do the right thing.

John's admitted to his family and close friends that he's the father of Frances. He says he wants to be a part of her life and help raise his daughter."
