DJ AM Has Died in New York City

DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, was found dead this afternoon in New York City. Goldstein made headlines when he and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker narrowly escaped death in a plane crash that killed multiple victims. Police have not stated a cause of death but people close to the investagation say drugs may have been involved.

Goldstein was a member of the rock band Crazytown, known for their hit "Butterfly". He has also scratched on albums for Papa Roach, Madonna, Will Smith, and Shifty and played concerts with Jay-Z. He has played private events for celebrities like Jim Carrey, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Stiller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Kate Hudson.

He was 36 years old at the time of his death.
