BBC Tweets the Beatles

This coming Saturday evening, BBC Two is showing a documentary entitled "The Beatles on Record". The documentary uses rare archive footage, as well as never before heard out-takes and interviews with The Beatles to shed light on the creation on each of their albums. BBC is encouraging viewers to talk with other fans during the show via Twitter.

The program's director, Bob Smeaton, who you may recall also made the Beatles Anthology series, will also be on Twittter. During the broadcast he will join in the conversation and answer questions.

If you'd like to participate in the discussion, just make sure to add the hashtag #beatlesbbc to your tweets. That way you'll be able to see what Bob and other viewers are saying about it by doing a searc for #beatlesbbc.

There are many Beatles programs coming up on BBC, and the hashtag is also being used by BBC staff talking about Radio 2's Beatles bank holiday weekend shows.
