Method Man Busted For Failing to Pay Taxes

Rapper Method Man turned himself into authorities early Monday morning after he failed to pay nearly $33,000 in back taxes. The Grammy-award winning member of the Wu Tang Clan, whose real name is Clifford Smith, arrived at the Staten Island District Attorney's office at 8am to face felony charges.

Smith faces felony charges for neglecting pay $32,799 in back taxes, dating back to 2004. Authorities say that the rapper failed to pay taxes for three years. The investigation was conducted by the District Attorney's office and the state Department of Taxation.
