Elvis Presley's Grandson Offered $5 Million Record Deal

There's a new King in the making. Elvis Presley's 17-year-old grandson has just been offered a $5 million deal by Universal Records to put out five albums, and he's already gotten to work on recording songs. Ben Presley, who was born 15 years after the King's death, says that he does not plan to channel his grandfather's rockabilly stylings.

Ben noted:

"The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all."

He is currently taking a short break from recording his album, which he hopes to have out next year.

Ben is the son of Lisa Marie Presley with her first husband, Danny Keough, a musician she wed at the age of 20. Music, it seems, is clearly in Ben's DNA, but he hasn't let his famous mother or grandfather get to his head. He's down to earth, and was born in Los Angeles where he was home schooled by his fathered.

Lisa Marie's other child with Keough, Danielle Riley, is 20-years-old and is a model. Lisa Marie was the only child of Elvis with his wife Priscilla, and has been married four times to Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, and most recently, Michael Lockwood, with whom she has 1-year-old twins - Finley and Harper. Benjamin Presley served as a groomsman in his mother's wedding to Lockwood.

The last name is spelled

The last name is spelled wrong for one thing...and if he doesn't plan on channeling his grandfathers music, why doesn't he use the Keough last name instead
