I agree to veracity is questionable but I hope it's true. Elizabeth should stand up for herself to the tramp and her husband. Protect herself and her children. I hope Elizabeth lives to dance on Hunter's grave and John's, too!

Elizabeth has every right to say what ever she wants to her cheatin' husband and his tramp. Maybe now RH will feel some of the same "horror" EE felt when she found our about her. BTW, there were only 3 parties involved in the phone call. Guess who told the Enquirer? Wake up RH, JE gave EE your phone #. He knew what was going to happen. Anyway you deserve what you get. How does one source know both sides of a conversation including who was in the rooms and how people behaved before and after the call? This is another story Hunter (probably through her family and friends) is feeding the tabloid. (I wonder how much they are getting paid?) What a loser!

The world would definitely be a better place without people like Hunter (and Young, Baron, John Edwards, etc.) in it.

Since the cooze was and probably still is waiting for Elizabeth to die, isn't it fair for Elizabeth to wish the same fate for her? May Elizabeth outlive them all!

John doesn't have a clue. The only positive attribute he had left was Elizabeth but by continuing to demean her, he has nothing. His poll ratings from January to now have dropped the most since they've been polling. In January everything was public so the change between then and now is the public seeing him do wrong by Elizabeth (and Cate, Emma and Jack). Maybe he doesn't care that he has become nothing. If he does care at all, the only path to any sort of redemption (not a comeback but not being a total cad) is through Elizabeth.

Rielle doesn't have much more of a clue. By making everything public, she's ensuring that Cate, Emma and Jack will never have anything to do with her or her child. They know not only about their father but now all about her. With what she's doing to their mother, they'll wish her dead, too.

EE's kids will probably want nothing to do with RH or her child. RH hurt their mother and continues to hurt her. Unfortunately, the baby is the living evidence of the betrayal of their family by their father. There will be no happy family ending with RH and her child after EE's no longer in the picture. She would be a horrible step-mother. Emma and Jack would be teenagers and fully aware of what this woman and their father put their mother through. Cate can choose to stay away.

I doubt RH planned a future with EE's kids in the picture. Just herself and her child and John. BTW, Who wants to be Mrs. John Edwards now anyway?

John better watch out. RH living close by could make his life more miserable than it is now. Imagine a "partygirl" living in isolation in small town NC. She's bound to bother him all the time and make EE even more miserable. Sooner or later she would go looking for "company". That may not work our for her as people have apparently been avoiding EE and JE. I can't imagine they would take well to her.

Now I understand there were other women. Maybe he cheated on RH too. Oh well all she wanted was money so she probably doesn't care as long as she doesn't have to go to work and be a responsible mother. She'll teach her kid to live off of another woman's family as well. Oh, the benefits of home schooling.

Actually, since all this happened, Rielle has taken a higher road than Elizabeth, who wrote a book, went on talk shows and is keeping the story, and her victimhood alive and public. Elizabeth needs to get over herself and start putting ALL the children first. Yes, it sucks that her husband had a child outside of marriage, but Saint Elizabeth needs to put the needs of that child first--or at least shut up while her husband does right by his child. That little girl has every right to see her father, to have him in her life. And like it or not, Elizabeth will be gone sooner rather than later, and Rielle will have a bigger part in Elizabeth's children's lives. LIz needs to accept that NOW and help with the transition. Either that, or play the whiny bitchy Victim in private---we are sick of it.

Of course Elizabeth wishes her dead. What else could she possibly think and feel after all the misery Hunter has caused her and her children? Besides, Hunter's is a wasted life that has brought nothing of value into the world so good riddance to her.

What must be more painful is to look at her husband of over 30 years and see him for what he has become. Once upon a time he probably was a good person with potential. Now, he is a complete and total failure in every way. He is a failed husband and father. (In cheating he didn't just betray his wife but their children, too.) He failed his extended family (his poor parents!) and friends. He failed his supporters.

He was pretty much always viewed as a failed Senator since he accomplished nothing in his one term. He failed as a Vice Presidential candidate and couldn't win his own state or even his home district. He absolutely failed as a Presidential candidate that he could do what he did. History will write him off as a footnote for the affair and cover up but beyond that he might as well not even have existed.

The public has already said good riddance to him. It will be harder for his family to do so but he has so utterly failed them and continues to do so that he is beyond hope or help. With time may they find the peace they need in a life without him offering them anything whether he's physically around or not since he's been emotionally absent for a very long time and won't or can't make an effort to change.

EE has every right in the world to feel the way she does! EVERY right in the world! RH messed with her family and she is protecting her family and that includes JE as part of that family.

Elizabeth Edwards has been so generous in her comments about her discusting husband, defending him on national television, etc.... finally, she is telling it as she should. John Edwards and Rielle Hunter: Scum and Scummer. and obviously Scammers as well with the help of Andrew Young and the rich supporter (s) who died conveniently before he had to testify.

As badly as I feel for EE she needs to realise that it's her husband's wondering
eye and revolving barn door that is to blame. RH is a tramp. Any woman who messes around with a married man, let alone a married man with children and a dying wife, is selfish and smells of wh()re. BUT, it's JE's that chose to break the marriage vows with his wife. My opinion only but he could have said no. While I think RH is a foul example of a real woman, JE's is ten times worse. Shame on him. Karma is a bietch and both of them will get their fair share of it in years to come.

I do wish EE would hold her head high and walk away. No one would blame her. In fact, I'd have more respect for her.

I know the EE lovers will come frothing, but she is perhaps the worst actor in this situation now. JE was awful, always was, a total egomaniaical fake. But EE knew about this affair all along, pretended she didn't on national TV, kept the lie up for many months, refused to even countenance the idea that JE had fathered the child, and now claims to be spurned. She would have happily rode JE's disgusting coattails to the white house if it had been in the cards. She is an awful person. Who cares whether she has cancer or not--she is a pure machivellian opportunist, but JE was so careless that even she can't do proper damage control now. So throw him under the bus--which she should have done long ago if she had any integrity. RH is actually the best of the bunch, and that's not saying much.

It's a shame the little girl will likely always be referred to as "The Edwards Bastard". And to think that I originally supported JE over Obama and Clinton because I thought he was the most honest and forthright. Pah! He turned out to be the worst in the bunch!

JE's affair is a matter of public record at this point. EE should divorce JE and take him for every last penny he owns. Then once divorced, she should write a "tell all" book that itemizes in detail each of JE's indiscretions both privately and politically. EE has the sympathy of women everywhere and would make a fortune on the book while also focusing a tight beam of shame on JE and his crack-headed baby mamma.

John Edwards will never work in politics again. However, he and his skanky ho should remain the target of media ridicule for years to come. What a couple of complete and utter LOSERS! There aren't too many things lower than cheating on and then publicly humiliating your loyal, adoring and DYING wife. And let's not forget that by having an affair that created a new child outside the home, JE also betrayed his own children.

John Edwards you are the lowest type of scumbag. You couldn't even keep your dork in your pants long enough for your wife to pass away of natural causes! She should just legally change her name to gold-digger! (Looks like someone did take her to a salon - must say she still looks terrible for someone her age.)

Why does she have a nanny? Perhaps she should get a job!

John Edwards must be the dumbest man on the face of the earth to keep this cooze in his life and pay such exorbitant amounts. He should have put a fair amount in a trust, administered by an independent trustee, for the little girl. Let the mother support herself.

Elizabeth, If you haven't already, divide the money and put your share where your disgusting husband and his whore can't get at it. Make sure your children have it - they'll need it if you are ever gone. More importantly make sure someone else will raise your younger children if you can't because he and the tramp would only do them devastating harm.

Here is a person who has spent her life giving to others - family, friends, strangers. Despite illness and hardship, she continues to put others before herself. She has the resources to live any lifestyle she chooses but doesn't live lavishly. She is building a business and speaks to provide for herself and her children. She has touched so many lives and can look at the living legacy she will one day (hopefully decades from now) leave behind in her children and all the others she has enriched. BEAUTIFUL!

Here is a person who had everything and threw it all away. This is a recent photo (August 2009) and shows him deteriorating rapidly. He thinks only of himself, first, last, always. He has nothing left in his life - no job, no opportunity to serve others, no respect from family, friends or former colleagues. All the horrible things he has done and continues to do is beginning to show on his face. He chose the beast who sold him out and torments the beauty who stood by him and tried to protect him. He deserves the hell he is getting and has no one to blame but himself. WORTHLESS!
