The last thing the Cleveland Browns needed was more bad news. They got some today, however, when they found out that starting linebacker D’Qwell Jackson is out for the season. Browns head coach Eric Mangini broke the news that the shoulder injury would keep the veteran out for the season and lamented:

“It’s disappointing any time you lose a player for the season, and this is especially true with someone like D’Qwell, who has proven to be an outstanding leader for us both on and off the field.”

The Browns play the Green Bay Packers at the Stadium at 1:00 on Sunday.
