CSU Head Coach Gary Waters Talks About Upcoming Season

Gary Waters addressed Cleveland State's season ticket holders after the school's 6th annual green and white scrimmage. The scrimmage was the most attended in the history of the long struggling basketball program which turned its fortunes around last year with an NCAA Tournament bid and most successful season in over two decades.
Waters thanked the faithful fans their support and had his 2009-2010 squad, which is predicted to finish third in their conference this season to introduce themselves to the fans. Waters ended the mini-pep talk by stating its his goal to "bring the curtain down" which decreased the arenas capacity of almost 14,000 to 8,500 after playing to an empty arena for years.
