Rumor: Hillary Clinton May Run as VP in 2012, then President in 2016

Hillary Clinton lost the Democratic Party's nomination for the Presidency in 2008 and rival Barack Obama took the White House, beating the GOP candidate John McCain in the November election. This all but ruined any plans that Clinton might have had to run again in 2012, as Obama would - barring any unforeseen events or circumstances - be the incumbent candidate. Now it seems that Clinton may have a shot still, it will just take awhile longer.

The hottest rumor in Washington D.C. right now is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could replace Vice President Joe Biden on the 2012 Obama re-election ticket. It would serve as a reward for her work at State, as well as prepare her for a 2016 run. Some strategists think that Biden would be too old to run for president at that point.

Great news!

That would be a gift horse for Repubics. I thought it was pretty much obvious now Obama would lose in 2012 by a landslide. But with HRC attached to the package, look out. I predict the following:

Popular Vote
Sarah Palin / Joe Lieberman (58%)
Republican Ticket (Probably Romney / Newt) (32%)
Independents/Green Parties (6%)
Barack Obama / Hilary Clinton (4%)

But my money is on impeachment in 2011.

That is the most ridiculous

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I am by no means an Obama fan, but open your eyes. Palin is only popular among the right-wing fringe conservatives. She does not have ANY political clout with independent America, which is what she would need to win not only the presidency, but even the nomination.

Obama and Hillary would again win the White House. Barring any economic failure between now and then, Obama will run again, and seeing as the Republicans have no REAL candidates to offer, he will win again.

Get real.

Go for Hillary Clinton

If Hillary Clinton would run for Vice President I think that would be very great. But if she prefer to run for President much better.

I go for Hillary Clinton all the way!

obama will need a soup

obama will need a soup tester if she does become vp in 2012

hillary

Hillary should challenge Obama in the primary for 2012
