Cleveland Gladiators Returning in Spring

The Cleveland Gladiators have announced they are joining the new Arena Football One League. The Gladiators had a very successful season in Cleveland but were in hiatus after the Arena League folded abruptly.

“We are pleased to welcome the Cleveland market to the Arena Football One family,” said Commissioner Jerry Kurz. “With the return of Arena Football in 2010 and with the great ownership of Jim Ferraro and leadership of Bernie Kosar, we are extremely pleased to have our great game of Arena Football return to Cleveland.”

Other cities who will have teams in the newly formed league are Arizona, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando and Utah. Other markets include: Alabama, Bossier-Shreveport, Iowa, Jacksonville, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City, Spokane and Tulsa.

The Gladiators will once again play their home games at Quicken Loans Arena. Season ticket questions will be fielded at 216.685.9000.
