Vikings Hosting Loyola in Horizon League Action Tomorrow


Cleveland State returns home for the first time in Horizon League play, hosting Loyola on Thursday, Jan. 7 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center. The Vikings (5-10, 1-2), who snapped a four-game losing streak when they routed Youngstown State, 70-48, on Saturday in Youngstown, will be out to snap a three-game Wolstein Center losing streak that includes losses to Wichita State (69-54), Robert Morris (78-70) and No. 6 West Virginia (80-78). Loyola (11-3, 2-2), which was picked to finish last in the 10-team league this season, has claimed league wins over Milwaukee and Wright State this year to rank fifth in the current league standings. This will be the 35th meeting between CSU and Loyola with the Ramblers owning a 22-12 series lead, including a 9-8 record in Cleveland.
