Comedy Central Plans Youtube Competitor

Viacom had ulterior motives when the demanded Youtube to take down clips. Some of the more popular clips on Youtube come via Comedy Central, and the company is planning on creating a portal on their Comedy Central portal where users can post clips of their favorite South Park, Colbert Show, Daily Show, or other Comedy Central favorites.

Look for Viacom to announce the same plan with their other networks which include MTV. It will be interesting to see if Viacom can set up site that can compete with Youtube or will just become a footnote in internet history.
