Venus Williams Denies Going Commando; Says She Wore Flesh Colored Undies

Venus Williams caused quite a stir last week when it appeared that she was wearing no underwear under her latest skimpy tennis outfit. The bright yellow outfit featured large slits on the sides, and when the tennis star was moving about the skirt portion would fly up, exposing what we now know to be flesh-colored underwear.
Many people watching the matches, however, were adamant that the 29-year-old star had begun taking fashion inspiration from the likes of Britney Spears, deciding to forgo undergarments. Looking at many pictures, it's easy to see how many were so easily fooled.
Williams intentionally wore underwear that were the exact same shade as her skin, to give the illusion that she wasn't wearing anything underneath her skirt. On her Twitter account, Venus responded to the rumors:
"I am wearing undershorts the same color as my skin, so it gives the slits in my dress the full effect!"
Regardless of her choice of attire, which always seems to cause a stir, Venus has been killing her opponents in the Australian Open. On Saturday she defeated Casey Dellacqua in just the second set, and will play along side her sister Serena Williams on Sunday against Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.
