Cavaliers Courting Phoenix Suns Star Amare Stoudemire in Blockbuster Trade

The Arizona Republic is reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to make a deal to land Phoenix Suns power forward Amare Stoudemire. The PD's beat reporter Brian Windhorst says that deal would include the Cavs sending Zydrunas Ilgauskas and J.J. Hickson to the Suns.
Stoudemire was the 9th pick of the 2002 draft and has had a very solid career with the Suns averaging 21 Points and just under 9 rebounds a game for the Suns in his career. The 27 year old can become a free agent at the end of the season and has recently stated that he wants to play for a team that can contend for a NBA title.
If the Cavs are able to land the the former 2003 Rookie of the Year, it may be the final piece of the puzzle to bring the city of Cleveland it's first major sports championship since 1964.

Don't do it! Z has shown a lot of loyalty to this city and team and we should show him the same...
Stoudamire doesn't care enough about defense and his fragile eyes make him reluctant to play physical, mix-it-up basketball, which is key to how the Cavs can win in the playoffs.
No way.
Stoudemire is a defensive liability and will be a free agent after this season. JJ is a solid young player with great upside that could help the Cavs out for years to come and Z comes off the books at the end of the year anyway. Amare is too expensive to even consider signing to a multi-year deal after this season.
