MSNBC's Chris Matthews Under Fire for Racist Comment

Chris Matthews IS a racist because he still thinks in terms of skin color and like the jerk he is, he engages his racist thoughts before his brain can catch up. Why those fools at MSNBC still pay him to be on their pathetic little cable channel is mind boggling, other than the fact that it is a pathetic little cable channel and they can't sell that air time to a slicer dicer infomercial. The few viewers they have are probably about as stupid as Chris Matthews so they are good company to each other. No self respecting channel would hire a moron like Chris Matthews, he stupid people a bad name.

Way to go Chris.....knock us back a 100 years. Regardless of how you feel or how populare you THINK you are, he is our President and needs to be treat with respect! People like you are why we are slowly becoming divided..........so much for me, my family and friends ever having anything to do with MSNBC...not as long as you are there.

Chris Matthews flip flops on his topics from praising Sarah Palin's book and slams Obama when he feels like it. He gave Sarah too much free air time and promotion her stupid book. He interrupts his guest and he is so arrogant and rude during his interviews. Yes, his comments about Obama is racist. Also he repeats all the time of his experience working in Washington during the Carter era. Who cares, it is not the same Washington. He is pathetic.

What matthews thinks is that Pres Obama was like a white man for an hour, it's people like matthews that divides us racially. How many times has he apologized for his racist thoughts?

Chris Matthews was saying that Obama has transcended race. Obama has made similar comments, he said something about how he is not a black president, he is THE President.

Watch all of his comments, not just the one, and stop being so sensitive.

Mathews remarks sound similar to, "Gee, that speech was so good I thought a white guy was giving it. Then I remembered it was a black guy. Wow! I was shocked and amazed that a black guy was capable of this."

This type of off-the-cuff stupid remarks is why the president insists on using a teleprompter. ;)

Yet again, another product of a Catholic high school in the South (and heavens ! a Catholic college in Massachusetts), who apparently missed the message of the religion supposedly the basis of those schools. Bad enough his comment was un-American, but now it's obvious, he's not that terrific a Christian either.

I wonder, does Chris ever put down the gospel reading and declare, "Gee, I almost forgot He was a Jew!" What happened to the Catholic schools who taught me? Did they get racist when the nuns left? Or because the cranky old men stayed?

BTW: Did anyone tell Chris that the calendar pictures of Jesus with blond hair and blue eyes are not authentic? Even Mary had dark skin. (It's true; sister told us.) :)

Well, I think that this was a Freudian slip that he made subconsciously because he is a "closet racist"(someone ,usually a white person, who is a racist but will never confirm it publically when confronted) . If Beck, Hannity, or ANYBODY on the right had made that comment, they will have to show up to testify at congressional hearing. Oh well, OK maybe it won't go that far, but with all the non-legislating that has been going on in congress these days, I wouldn't be surprised.

I think it is crazy to call his comment racist--he was talking about President Obama being POST-RACIAL...which is when WHITE PEOPLE don't see black first, then man (or women). Like with big stars in the sports world! Now, if we could only get them to see us all that way, whether we were president or basketball star, the world would be a much better place!

Somebody else makes a racist statement and Matthews and his kind at MSNBC are all over the story. Say nothing and the "no comment" is news. But let one of their own like Matthews make an incredibly stupid statement and the entire network clams up. Man up Matthews and go on camera--preferably on a real network where a few folks will actually see your apology.

He is most deffinitly a one sided so called news caster. A racist I dont no. He had a republican on who said social security should be redid for people under 55. Christ keep saying social security cuts by republicans. The man said under 55.I think people under55 should be working. I believe most folks feel this way. Chris Mathews is not racist nor were his most recent comments. His words were poorly chosen and left him open for this huge amount of backlash but if people weren't so emotional about this topic and could actually think about it objectively, I don't think anybody would be calling him a racist. All he was saying was that it shouldn't matter that Obama is black. Now that might seem obvious to you, but right before Chris's racial comments Obama's race was the topic of every form of media thanks to the book "Game Change" and the potentially racist comments stated by Harry Reid and Clinton, so his comments were even currently topical. Racism is not dead and we should never stop opening dialogues about it, lest we forget.
Railroading people that actually have the backbone to talk about racial issues, especially when they are not apart of the race being spoken about, only stifle equality and education. Even if a person is racist it's better that we allow them to speak their mind so that we know of the problem and hopefully can change their ignorant view points.

How many times has he apologized for his racist thoughts? But he is shameless!!!
