Fourth Season Could be the Last for Mad Men

In its three seasons on air, AMC's "Mad Men" has attained an almost cult-like status and has amassed a following that few series ever do. But now one of the show's stars, January Jones, is hinting that creator Matthew Weiner might be ending the series earlier than most would like.

Speaking with Stella Magazine about the upcoming fourth season, which begins filming in April, Jones said:

"It may be the last one. I'm a firm believer in quitting while it's hot. Besides it can't go on for ever: I don't want to see Betty in Spandex in the 1980."

For now, we'll take this news with a grain of salt. Betty Draper (Jones) could easily be written off, letting her depart the series while it's still good. Afterall, she doesn't speak for creator Matt Weiner.
