Denny's Offering Free Grand Slam Breakfasts Today

Hungry and low on cash? Denny's is offering free Grand Slam breakfasts today, Tuesday, February 9 from 6am to 2pm. If you're headed out there, be ready to wait. We've heard that the lines are long in some areas.
Denny's did the same promotion last year, and said that in 2009 they gave out more than 2 million free meals. One of the restaurants most popular menu items, the Grand Slam breakfast consists of two eggs, two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and two sausage links.
According to Denny's chief executive and president Nelson Marchioli, the company will be going beyond just the free breakfast promotion this year. He said that Denny's will implement numerous new programs and offers to help families in day's rough economy.

I'm a foodie as well. I love food but can't afford the high prices of decent restaurants too often. Have learned to make the dishes I love - sometimes better than local restaurants. I love going to Denny's with my family.
