Georgia College Student Claims Ben Roethlisberger Assaulted Her

A college student has accused Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of sexually assaulting early Thursday morning at a Georgia nightclub. Police say the alleged assault of a 20-year-old female occurred in the Capital City bar in Milledgeville.

Roethlisberger's agent, Ryan Tollner, said that the quarterback had spoken to police about "an allegation" after "Ben and his friends met a group of women and everyone mingled together throughout the evening."

Ben has not yet been charged with anything. Last year, he was also the subject of a sexual abuse claim in which a woman claimed that he raped her. Roethlisberger denies the allegations and has countersued.

PERHAPS both incidents were gold diggers trying to get rich. He could just be a really nice guy who thinks the best about people and is getting burned. Keep in mind HE IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!!!

This is already OLD news. The "Cleveland 'Leader'" needs to change their name to "The Cleveland Follower". :-)
Ben has not been charged and was not even pointed out by the victim as a suspect. She simply described someone and he fits that description as do quite a few people that were there. I agree with the other poster...innocent until proven guilty. As much as people read something and believe it, I'd like to sell those folks a bridge or two. In great condition, hardly ever used! :-)

I truly believe this is another case of: say "you are sorry and pay me the money and I'll forget it. It is all about the money. Let these gold digging little wenches publically damage this individual or any other man with a little money in his pocket. They should be charged. I am glad Ben countersued! Way to go Ben!

Absolutely agree with postings related to innocence until otherwise proven. Golddiggers? Quite possible. But, he has repeatedly exercised poor judgement by placing himself in such positions. Remember, too, his remarkable judgement with his motorcycle accident. A lower profile would suit him.

If Ben didn't do this, he is still guilty of being where he had no business being. He is no different from Adam "Pacman" Jones in that he got in trouble but he continues the behavior that got him in trouble. If this doesn't get cleared up by the season start, I see Ben getting suspended...

Take a page from Ray Lewis. He got into trouble a few years back but you have heard nothing from or about him other than his on-the-field play. He even talks to any rookie within earshot about keeping their nose clean.

If I were Mike Tomlin, I would call in Tony Dungy to talk to Ben (Dungy gave Tomlin his break, Dungy is also a former Steeler and an all around good guy who seems to have guided Michael Vick back towards the right path). If anyone gan get him sorted out, it's him.

Bottom line is that if Ben can be the face of a franchise then I think Adam “Pacman” Jones can play and Vick hurt dogs but Ben rapes women!!!!!! Pacman Jone was never been charged nor has Marvin Harrison but they got the media’s guilty until guilty treatment. Just accused. As big as domestic violents was with Chris Brown and Kobe, but this guy is accused of raping two women(the media didn’t tell us about the first one until a year later?) what exactly are you talking about??.. the reason the media didn't tell us about it until a year later is b/c andrea mcnulty waited a year to file a complaint!.. how would the media know UNLESS you filed as soon as it happened?..

personally, i figure it this way: if you wait a year to file a complaint and you automatically file a civil suit, instead of a criminal suit, then you're a greedy b*tch!.. how is money going to help your "emotional scars?".. if i filed against someone who supposedly "raped" me, i would go to the ER first, bring my discharge papers to the police station and file criminal charges against my attacker!..
