American Al Qaeda Member Arrested in Pakistan Was Not Adam Gadahn

On Sunday, an American member of Al Qaeda was arrested in a raid in the southern Pakistan city of Karachi. However, unlike initial reports suggested, the individual arrested was not the terrorist group's American-born spokesman, Adam Gadahn.

The suspect detained is in fact an American, but has been identified as Abu Yahya Majadin Adam. Officials have not given any details about his background or his role within Al Qaeda.

A similar name is listed in the FBI's web site as an alias for Adam Gadahn, and the resemblence seems to have created some confusion among officials. At first officials believed the suspect was Gadahn, a 31-year-old spokesman who has appeared in several videos threatening the United States and the West since 2001. In the United States, Gadahn is wanted on charges of treason and for materially supporting the terrorist network.

An intelligence officer in Pakistan said:

"The resemblance of the name initially caused confusion but now they have concluded he is not Gadahn. He feels proud to be a member of Al Qaeda."

US Military intelligence officials said on Monday that the arrested man does not appear to be Gadahn. In addition, a U.S. Embassy spokesman said that the embassy had not been informed of any American being arrested.

Gadahn, it appears, still remains at large.

They should double check before they start assuming this raises people to become more aware, damn shame shit like this happens because people are starving in America and can not afford to live free so this is what happens because we turn our backs on people that we loved or once loved.

This site is very interesting. Well, They must arrest Adam Gadahn as soon as possible. Because even he is just a spokes person of Al Qaeda he is still one of the most important member of Al Qaeda.

Lol! Another false information? I believe it's been a already 5 years since the false information about the WMD. I guess US just want to divide the Muslims because I believe if they unite, they are more stronger than the awaken sleeping giant of WWII.
