Former CSU and NBA Player Clinton Smith Wanted by Cuyahoga County Sheriff

Clinton Smith, who helped fuel the 1986 Cinderella run by Cleveland State and later played 2 seasons in the NBA, is wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's department. Smith is said to have injured a deputy sheriff fleeing the Justice Center this afternoon. Smith is on probation for passing bad checks and got in trouble with the law again for the same crime and was informed he was going to be arrested. That is when the 46 year old decided to run and injured the deputy sheriff, pushing him down the stairs which caused a fractured the mans leg.
