Roethlisberger Admits to Sexual "Contact" with Woman Claiming Assault

Last Friday, Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault at an Atlanta area nightclub. Roethisberger has admitted to police that he had sexual contact with the woman, but denies that the two had intercourse, say sources.

According to KDKA, after the woman made the assault claim, Milledgeville, Ga. police spoke with the quarterback. Investigators also intend to interview Roethisberger again in the coming days.

Roethlisberger had been at the Atlanta club celebrating his 28th birthday. Sources say that the Pittsburgh Steeler told police that the woman, 20, had slipped and fell after the sexual contact, injuring her head. She immediately went to a local hospital, where she filed her complaint.

Police will soon be asking Roethlisberger for DNA samples, which will presumably be used to see if it matches substances taken from the woman at the hospital.

The Super Bowl champ is also dealing with another legal situation. A woman claims that he raped her at a Lake Tahoe hotel and casino last year. Ben has strongly denied these allegations as well.
