Conan O'Brien Planning 30-City Tour of US & Canada

Conan O'Brien, who negotiated to leave "The Tonight Show" earlier this year, is looking to do something productive with his free time. The former late night TV host legally cannot start a new show until the Fall, so until then he as a lot of time on his hands. So, now he's planning a tour of the US and Canada.

Conan will kcik off his "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" on April 12 in Eugene, Oregon. Between then and June 14, he's expected to hit up at least 20 states and 30 cities, including the Bonnaroo Music Festival.

According to his publicist, the show will be "a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence", and will feature O'Brien's sidekick, Andy Richter, as wella s members of his former "Tonight Show" band.

In a statement, O'Brien said:

“It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house."

He apparently doesn't like housework very much.
