Katherine Heigl Successfully Ditches Grey's Anatomy

Katherine Heigl has been trying to weasel her way out of her contract for Grey's Anatomy for years, under the delusion that she would have a better career in movies than on television. Well, now she's finally gotten her wish.

After Katherine took some time off to make a movie and bond with her baby girl, she was due to be back on the set of Grey's on March 1st. However, she and the network decided to party ways, "which means her final episode as Izzie has already aired."

Good riddance!

How can you respect an article written by someone who can not even spell "riddance". Heigl already has a better career in movies. Her last 3 have been big box office hits and she is now the worlds third highest paid female MOVIE star. She makes more for one movie (around $12 million) than an entire season of the show. So go figure...and her character had been destroyed by the writers. So it seems the mutual decision to leave / release her from her contract is good for all parties.

According to Forbes, she is not even one of the top 15 highest paid stars.

Riddance was spelled correctly.
