Clinton Smith Turns Himself In to Police

Former Cleveland State Vikings star Clinton Smith has turned himself in a day after breaking a sheriff’s deputy leg after fleeing the Justice Center. The Plain Dealer reports:

Sheriff’s Office spokesman John O’Brien said Smith’s attorney called the office Thursday morning, and he surrendered peacefully to deputies at noon.

Smith starred on the Vikings 1986 team that upset Indiana and nearly made the Elite 8. He later played 2 seasons in the NBA.
